After each game, each of you will each receive a star. These stars come in
five different colors, and each color stands for something different. Your actions and attitude on game day will help determine which star you will receive.

The white star represents Christlikeness. Being Christlike means that you model Jesus in your actions and attitude.

The blue star represents Best Effort. Giving your best effort means that you try your best at all times on the court.

The gold star represents Best Sportsmanship. Being a good sport means that you treat others the way you want to be treated. It also means that you treat
the referee with respect.

The gray star represents Best Offense. It means playing the way you are coached to play so that you and your teammates will be able to score.

The red star represents Best Defense. It means playing the way you are coached to play so that you can guard your assigned player and keep the
other team from scoring.

The green star represents SCRIPTURE LEARNING because we need to grow with God. We can grow with God by learning Bible verses, going to church, praying, and reading the Bible. As we grow in our relationship with God, we will begin to live more like his Son, Jesus. Psalm 119:11 says, “I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.”
